Evaluation

MERA provides insightful, evidence-based evaluations services which empower our clients to design the most efficient and effective aid and development initiatives possible. MERA seeks to ensure that evaluations become a long-term learning experience for participants, donors and implementing organizations alike, that should unite relevant actors in consultative processes of data collection, validation of findings, and dissemination of results.

Capacity Building

MERA offers capacity development services that cover a multitude of areas relevant to the humanitarian, development, government and business sectors. Our local and international trained staff and consultants have years of practical experience working in the development sector and also the expertise in training methods to effectively deliver quality capacity development services. Trust has developed tailored modules in local languages on a wide range of topics such as project management, remote management, OCA, proposal writing, humanitarian principles, and monitoring and evaluation.

Protocols and Ethics

MERA respects the rights, interests, and dignity of participants in conducting research, regardless of ethnicity, religious beliefs, gender, ability, age, orientation, language, or political affiliation. We obtain informed consent from participants, without coercion, prior to engaging in research. Parental or guardian consent must be obtained for participating minors.

Our researchers have an obligation to protect participants from any harm which might occur as a consequence of the research, physical, psychological, or otherwise. Ensuring and preserving anonymity is paramount.
